Refund policy

We have a Satisfaction Guarantee 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if you’re not completely satisfied. Chinook Skincare welcomes you to return new or gently used products with at least ⅔ of the container full, and all returns are inspected upon return. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at megan@chinookskincare.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Chinook Skincare Inc.,13 Glenbrook Crescent, Cochrane, Alberta T4C 1E7, Canada.

If your return is accepted, we’ll issue you a Refund Confirmation number with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and will not be issued a refund.

If your return complies with our Return Policy, we are happy to refund the full amount of the purchase less the cost of return shipping. Return shipping fees are at the sole cost of the consumer. Please ensure you send all returns via registered mail with a tracking number and insurance if the value exceeds $100. All returns must be received at our facility within two weeks of issuing the Return Confirmation number or we will not be able to issue a full refund. 

We are not responsible for any damages or loss of order for any returns if a package is lost or damaged after being received by the shipping company, it is their responsibility and you should contact them directly for damages. 

Chinook Skincare monitors return activity and reserves the right to deny returns that, in its sole discretion, do not meet the Return Policy requirements, such as in instances of abuse.

For eligible returns, any Chinook Skincare points will be deducted from your total and any related affiliate points will be reversed.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like beauty accessories that have been used or are not in their original packaging in saleable condition, or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14-day cooling off period.
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As mentioned above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
